Zvika Weiss – FounderZvika is highly involved with the Israeli Academic and Technology Transfer institutions in Israel for over a decade and has a broad and deep understanding of the entire research ecosystem. Zvika has been leading both licensing and academic research investments in Capital Nature since its inception in the beginning of 2011. Capital Nature is an investment firm focusing in early stage technology ventures in the Energy sector. Zvika is also the CFO of the company and serves as the Chairman of Solariphy, a company based on a technology licensed from the Technion Institute. Previousely, Zvika was the CFO of Yissum. Yissum, the Technology Transfer arm of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, is the largest Technology Transfer organization in Israel. The Hebrew University houses a Thousand researchers and has been the home of five Nobel Prizes winners. At Yissum, Zvika was involved in most transactions and also served as a board member of more than twenty start-ups based on technologies licensed out from the academy. Earlier in his career, Zvika has extensive experience in diverse finance and business roles in technology companies as well as holding companies such as IDB Holdings where Zvika also served as a board member of seven Israeli-based Venture Capital firms. Zvika holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting from Tel Aviv University as well as a Master in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University. |
